How far are you from the Ark Encounter/Creation Museum?

How is cell phone coverage?
As our property is rural, cell phone coverage is spotty, depending on your carrier. We hope you will use this time to disconnect with technology and connect more deeply with God, however, Wi-Fi is available for a fee of $20/cabin to help you stay in touch with others.
Are linens included?
For all cabins except Settler’s Cabin, linens (bedding and towels), toilet paper, and paper towels are provided. For stays of over 3 days, towels can be exchanged for clean ones partway through your visit. For Settler’s Cabin, we can provide linens, when requested in advance, for an additional $10/person.
What about toiletries, hair dryers, irons, etc.?
Liquid hand soap will be at each sink, but toiletries (shampoo, body wash, etc.), hair dryers, and irons/ironing boards are not provided. We have small hygiene kits available in our Trading Post if you forget something!

Can we cook in the cabins?
In Deer View, Creekside, Hilltop, and Frontier Cabins, major appliances, cookware and dishes, suitable for limited cooking, are available. Drip coffee makers are also in the kitchens. Cedar Cabins have drip coffee makers and refrigerators, but the kitchens are not equipped for cooking as meals are included in the Cedar Cabin package. Pioneer Cabins have refrigerators in the lower level meeting rooms and no kitchens.

Some of the cabins have working washers and dryers, but that can vary from time to time. If you contact us close to your arrival date, we can give you the current information on laundry facilities.

The price listed for Cedar and Pioneer Cabins includes lodging, 3 meals, meeting space, and beverage bar. All other lodging prices only include lodging.
Are there different prices for children?
Yes, children under 3 are free, and children ages 3-12 have reduced lodging prices, once cabin minimum is met. Meal prices are the same for anyone over 3 years old.
Our group is going to the Ark Encounter/Creation Museum/etc. and want to eat lunch there. Can we do that?
Sure! Please let us know as soon as you have your schedule (at least 14 days in advance). For any meal(s) that you opt out of, we will deduct $10 per person from the group package price. We also have a boxed meal option, if you would like to bring lunch with you.
The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum do not allow outside meals to be brought in. Some people still pack lunches and eat them in their vehicles. (Please note that at the Ark Encounter, it would take a long time to walk from the Ark to the bus pickup area, ride a bus to the parking lot, go to your vehicle, and then make your way back to the Ark via the bus.) Or, if you would like us to pack some snacks for your day out, please just let us know!
How far apart are the cabins?
Deer View, Hilltop, Frontier and Creekside Cabins are all spread out, ½ mile or more between them, and are not within easy walking distance of the lodge, where meals are served. Cedar Cabins are all together and are very near the lodge. Pioneer Cabins are all together, and walking to the lodge from them requires going up a steep hill, but is possible.

To ensure our staff are able to enjoy uninterrupted family time, no reservations will be booked for Thanksgiving weekend or Christmas Eve or Day. Outdoor activities will close Thanksgiving week and reopen in the spring.
