The Director's Chair
posted by: Aaron Barker on November 17, 2017 at 9:40 AM

Potter’s Ranch has seen many Blessings this year with nearly 7000 visitors representing 34 states and Canada.  We welcomed two new full time members to the ministry; Aaron Barker who is our new Administrative Director and Molly Hutchinson who is our new Equine Director.  We are excited to see what God does for the ministry through their service here at Potter’s Ranch.

This year’s Garden Gala was an amazing success due to our amazing sponsors:  CMI, Heritage Bank, Centennial, Merrill Lynch, Dream Street Chiropractic, Tutt Family Foundation, Len Riegler Blacktop, Adrean Sahser with RE/MAX, Clayton Homes, Kona Ice, Smokin’ This and That BBQ, Batteries and Bulbs.  Please feel free share your appreciation with them for their support of the ministry.

This year’s Children’s Christmas Adventure has been scheduled for Tuesday, December 5th.  With the support of the Boone County Businessmen’s Association and Boone County School District over 50 students will receive a wonderful program including a new coat, gloves and Christmas gift to take home.

2018 is going to be another exciting year as a new Family Cabin option is being introduced as well as new programs, camps, and ministry opportunities.

If you would like to support any of our programs - or the ministry itself - you can send us your tax deductible donation to Potter’s Ranch 5194 Beaver Rd. Union KY 41091 or visit the link proved for the Honey Baked Ham fundraiser.

Molly's Round-Up
posted by: Aaron Barker on November 17, 2017 at 6:38 AM

Howdy, Molly Hutchinson here, the new Equine Director at Potter’s Ranch. So far, my first year has been exciting in the horsemanship program!

The Ranch was privileged to host the PATH Intl. Region 4 Conference in June of 2017 for the second year in a row - something that PATH hasn’t done before! Great seminars, training sessions, and therapeutic continuing education classes were taught; it was a hoot!

Our  newest family member is Bugsy, a Saddlebred, who was welcomed on the ranch in September.  He is a very social, loving, outgoing guy who adores people and other horses. Bugsy would love to have more friends; so we’re looking for kid safe horses, and volunteers that enjoy being around farm animals - no experience needed.

Did you know the Ranch offers Therapeutic and Private horsemanship lessons for school age kids kindergarten and up? Right now you can save 10% on ANY of our horsemanship activities when you buy Potter’s Ranch Gift Cards.  Give us a holler and saddle up today!

With horse camps, equine team building, and lessons the 2018 year calendar is filling up fast.  Cowboy and cowgirl up to get involved!

Our friends over at the Ark Encounter are excited to have Steven Curtis Chapman as the first public performer at the Ark Encounter since its grand opening on July 7, 2016. Over the course of his three-decade career, Steven Curtis Chapman has won 58 Dove awards, five Grammys, and one American Music Award. He has sold nearly 11 million albums and has had numerous No. 1 radio hits, including “Live Out Loud,” “Love Take Me Over,” and “Speechless.”

Come be encouraged by the music from Steven Curtis Chapman and awed by the life-size Noah’s Ark as you discover the historic truth of God’s Word.
